Espace Solidarité Habitat
Welcoming and counselling the inadequately housed in Ile-de-France

Espace Solidarité Habitat receives and counsels the inadequately housed in the Ile-de-France region.
This space opened its doors in September 2000 to welcome, guide and support those living in inadequate housing conditions in the Ile-de-France region.
Every year, teams of ESH volunteers and employees counsel more than 2,000 households in difficulty.
Espace Solidarité Habitat especially follows up on people living in unfit or indecent lodgings or guest rooms, in situations involving eviction from a rental unit and also those who believe they are being discriminated against in their access to housing.
ESH provides legal support and gives advice on searching for housing.
The year 2007 saw the passing of legislation of the DALO housing rights law. ESH organises morning training sessions for social workers, employees and volunteers of associations that fight against exclusion and for access to law (contact ESH by e-mail for an invitation to the next morning training session).
